Garnet with a rare optical effect – the effect of color change. The peculiarity of such a garnet is that under different lighting conditions, different colors are observed in the stone. This garnet is characterized by a strong color change. In this sample, the following shades are present: burgundy red in artificial light and bluish green in daylight (see photo). In mixed lighting, if the light sources are point, it is interesting to observe red and green flashes at the same time; however, in diffused light, the stone may appear brownish.
