Purple rhodolite from Tanzania 10.88 ct

An excellent rhodolite garnet of a delicate purple color from distant African Tanzania. The stone has been re-cut into a stylish, high-quality wedge-cut shape, thanks to which the garnet exhibits a deep wine color and plays beautifully. The coloration is interesting, it contains pink, red, purple, and violet shades. At high magnification, one can observe thin rutile inclusions that are invisible to the naked eye.
